Eyewear Artwalk is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This privacy policy applies to the Eyewear Artwalk website, event, app, and other service (each, a “Service”) that refers to or links to this privacy policy. This privacy policy may be supplemented by additional privacy statements, terms or notices provided to you. The Eyewear Artwalk Organization that owns or administers the Service, as identified therein, is the primary controller of your personal information provided to, or collected by or for, the Service.
Information We Collect
We collect information about you in three ways: (1) from your input through our web forms, INSIDERS.io ticket purchase, NFC bracelets, and other badge scanners, app forms and other mechanisms, (2) from third-party sources, and (3) through automated technologies.
Data You Provide To Us
The types of personal information that we collect directly from you depends on how you interact with us and the Service and may include:

Contact details, such as name, email address, postal address, social media handle and phone number;

Account login credentials, such as username and password, password hints and similar security information;

Other account or event registration and profile information, such as educational, employment and professional background, dietary and accessibility requirements, and photo;

Comments, feedback and other information you provide to us, including information that you send to customer support and messages, appointment inquiries and other information that you wish us to share with our exhibitors, visitors, partners and others;

Sensitive data revealing health, disability, religion, or race or ethnic origin, as part of a request for special assistance or dietary requirements or in a medical emergency; and/or
-
Interests and communication preferences, including matchmaking, event planning, networking choices and preferred language.
To protect the safety and well-being of event participants, we may conduct disease prevention measures, which may include collection of health data through temperature screening, test-and-trace with the relevant health authority, monitoring for visible symptoms, or referral to quarantine or medical personnel.
Data From Other Sources
We also may obtain personal information about you from our group companies and from other third parties, including:

Service providers that help us determine a location based on your IP address in order to customize certain products to your location;

Partners with which we offer co-branded services or engage in joint marketing activities;

Data From Service Use or Attendance
Our Service may automatically collect information about how you and your device interact with the Service, including:

Usage data, such as the features you used, the settings you selected, your URL click stream data, including date and time stamp and referring and exit pages, and pages you visited on the Service; and/or

For location-aware Services, your location data, such as where you are located on the event floor.
We collect this data through our servers and the use of cookies and other technologies, including Bluetooth and RFID.
You can control cookies through your browser’s settings and other tools. However, if you block certain cookies, you may not be able to register, login, or access certain parts or make full use of the Service. For more details, visit the cookie notice of the Service.
You can control or limit location data collected through mobile applications by changing your preferences in your device’s location services preferences menu or through your choices regarding the use of Bluetooth and other network interfaces you may use to interact with our Service. However, the use of RFID technologies, such as wristbands, may be necessary for you to access certain events.
We also collect footage and imagery captured through recording, photography, or CCTV at events, offices, and other locations.
How We Use Your Information
Depending on how you interact with us and the Service, we use your personal information to:

provide relevant networking, speaker sessions, presentations, and exhibitor product recommendations as part of our event matchmaking services based on the preferences and interests you provide during your registration, your interactions on our websites, platforms, and at our events; and/or

include in participant directories to provide visitors, exhibitors, and sponsors names and business contact details of those attending the event.
Sharing of Your Information
Our Service Providers
Depending on the Service provided, we share personal information with:

Our affiliates, trading names, and divisions within Eyewear Artwalk worldwide and certain companies that provide technology, customer service, and other shared services functions; and/or

Our service providers, suppliers, agents, and representatives, including but not limited to, payment processors, venue providers, onsite event contractors, customer support, email service providers, IT service providers, mailing houses, and shipping agents, process the information as necessary to provide the Service, complete a transaction, fulfill your request, or otherwise on our behalf based on our instructions and in compliance with this privacy policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
Your Choices
We share your personal information with our affiliates and with exhibitors, sponsors, media partners, joint venture partners, and other third parties, including entities for which we are acting as an agent, licensee, or event manager, that wish to send you information about their products and services that may be of interest to you, as determined by your choices in managing your communications preferences and other settings.
The Service may include forums and participant directories that let you create a profile and post and share personal information, comments, materials, and other content to help others connect with you. Any such contributions you disclose publicly may be collected and used by others, may be indexed by search engines, and might not be able to be removed. Please be careful when disclosing personal information in these public areas.
The Service may enable you to share your virtual 'business card' information with an exhibitor, sponsor, or association by tapping your event ID badge on a badge-scanning device at a booth or other event location. This also allows you to receive their product or service details directly to the email address you provide.
When entering a virtual space, zone, or room at an event, your registration details may be shared with other attendees including the sponsor or exhibitor to facilitate event networking real-time video conferencing, online chats, and/or virtual business card drops, subject to additional notices.
When redeeming a voucher or invite to attend any of our events courtesy of our exhibitors or sponsors we will share your registration details with the exhibitor or sponsor for billing and/or marketing-related purposes.
Legal Reasons
We will disclose your personal information if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to:

meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or other legal obligation;

detect, investigate, and help prevent security, fraud, or technical issues; and/or
-
protect the rights, property, health, or safety of INSID3RS LLC, our users, employees or others;

Additional Processing
Editorial Content and Event Presentations
Where you submit content, such as writing an article or producing a video, for any of our other products, or speak at one of our events, we will process some additional personal information about you, including:

professional biography or profile, produced or approved by you, that may contain your image, likeness, or voice, which may be published and made available to our subscribers, and event audiences, or published online via our websites and social media channels for promotional purposes; and

internal editorial, reviewer, commentary, or feedback.
To help improve the diversity of our editorial content and event panels, we may ask you to provide, on an entirely voluntary basis, demographic data such as age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, religion, and sexual orientation.
Event Concierge
As part of our event concierge services for our hosted buyers, we may need to collect government identification information, such as passport and visa details, as well as any relevant health and disability information to ensure all accommodation and dietary requirements are met. This information may be provided to our local agents to secure the most suitable services based on their expert local knowledge. Where this is relevant, we would usually require your consent. However, there are some limited situations where this will not occur such as in a medical emergency.
Industry Awards
Participants, nominees, and sponsors of industry award ceremonies we host are invited to participate through the submission of award nominations, organizational reviews, or award ceremony attendance. All nominations and organizational reviews are only used in the administration of the awarding process.
Your Communications and Matchmaking Preferences
You can customize and manage your communications preferences and other settings when you register with the Service, by updating your account features and preferences, by using the ‘opt-out’ or unsubscribe mechanism or other means provided within the communications that you receive, or by contacting us. We reserve the right to notify you of changes or updates to the Service whenever necessary.
You can opt out of personalized matches and instead receive recommendations based on our most popular results, [by selecting 'opt-out' during the registration process, unsubscribing via any subsequent emails, or by contacting us through the contact address provided below].
Accessing and Updating Your Information
Self-Service
The Service may allow you to directly access and review your account, profile, and participant directory information and make corrections, updates, or deletions at any time. Keeping such information up to date is solely your responsibility. You may also close your account, delete your profile, or remove your participant directory information through the Service or by contacting the Service’s customer support.
Privacy Centre
You may have the right under European and certain other privacy and data protection laws, as applicable, to request free of charge:

restriction of our processing of your personal information, or to object to our processing; and

portability of your personal information.

Data Retention

Children’s Online Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 or target the Service to children under 13.

We take precautions to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction using appropriate technical and organizational measures.

Your personal information may be stored and processed in your region or another country where Eyewear Artwalk affiliates and their service providers maintain servers and facilities, including, but not limited to, Australia, Austria, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States and Vietnam. We take steps, including through contracts, intended to ensure that the information continues to be protected wherever it is located in a manner consistent with the standards of protection required under applicable law.
Grounds for Processing
When we collect from you any personal information within the scope of European data protection laws, we do so:

About this Privacy Notice
Pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act, Colorado Privacy Act, Connecticut Data Privacy Ac, and Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (collectively, “U.S. Consumer Privacy Laws”), Eyewear Artwalk, (“we,” “us” or “our”) is providing this U.S. Consumer Privacy Notice (“Notice”). Terms used but not defined shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the applicable U.S. Consumer Privacy Laws. This Notice does not apply to personal information that we process on behalf of our customers or that we collect from job applicants, contractors, or employees.
Personal Information Collected, Processed and Disclosed
We collect, and have collected and disclosed in the preceding 12 months, the following categories of personal information:
Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, telephone or mobile contact number, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, and other similar identifiers.
Personal information as defined in the California customer records law, such as name, contact information, education, employment, employment history, and financial information.
Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law such as gender, age, and marital status.
Commercial information, such as transaction information, purchase history, buying power, event networking information, financial details, and payment information.
Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing history, search history, online behavior, interest data, and interactions with our and other websites, applications, systems, and advertisements.
Geolocation data, such as approximate device location.
Audio, electronic, visual, and similar information, such as images and audio, video or call recordings created in connection with our business activities.
Professional or employment-related information, such as job title, work history, and experience.
Inferences drawn from any of the personal information listed above to create a profile or summary about, for example, a consumer’s preferences and characteristics.
Sensitive personal information, such as personal information reveals a consumer’s driver’s license number, state identification number, passport number, and account log-in and password.
We collect this personal information from you and from other categories of sources such as our affiliates; our customers; public and publicly available sources; our third-party resellers and referral partners, data suppliers and service providers; partners with which we offer co-branded services or engage in joint event or marketing activities; social networks; news outlets and related media; and the organization with which you are employed or affiliated.
We may use or process each of the above categories of personal information to operate, manage, and maintain our business, to provide our products and services, to communicate with you, for our vendor management purposes, and to accomplish our business purposes and objectives, including, for example, using personal information to: develop, improve, repair, and maintain our products and services; process or fulfill a request or other transactions submitted to us; personalize, advertise, and market our products and services; conduct research, analytics, and data analysis; maintain our facilities and infrastructure; undertake quality and safety assurance measures; conduct risk and security control and monitoring; prevent, detect and investigate fraud or other illegal actions; perform identity verification; perform accounting, audit, and other internal functions; comply with law, legal process, and internal policies; maintain records; exercise and defend legal claims; and fulfill legal obligations.
We may use sensitive personal information specifically for the following purposes: perform our services or provide products or services as requested by you; prevent, detect, and investigate security incidents or malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or other illegal actions; short-term, transient use such as displaying first party, non-personalized advertising; perform services on our own behalf, such as maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, or providing analytic services, storage or similar services for the business; and activities relating to quality and safety control or product improvement.
We disclose, and have disclosed in the preceding 12 months, each of the above categories of personal information for our operational business purposes to all of the following categories of third parties: affiliates; customers, such as sponsors and exhibitors, association and media partners; service providers; venue providers; agents and representatives; business and joint venture partners; and other parties where required by law or to protect our rights.
3. Personal Information Sold
We do not sell personal information to third parties within the scope of the application of the U.S. Consumer Privacy Laws.
4. Personal Information Shared
We share for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, and have shared for such purposes, in the preceding 12 months, with advertising networks, internet service providers, data analytics providers, operating systems and platforms, and social networks each of the following categories of personal information:
Identifiers such as online identifier, Internet Protocol address, and other similar identifiers.
Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing history, online behavior, interest data, and interactions with our and other websites, applications, systems, and advertisements.
Geolocation data, such as approximate device location.
Inferences drawn from any of the personal information listed above to create a profile or summary about, for example, a consumer’s preferences and characteristics.
We do not knowingly share the personal information, including the sensitive personal information, of minors under 13 years of age within the scope of the application of the U.S. Consumer Privacy Laws or knowingly share the personal information of minors at least 13 years of age and less than 16 years of age without their affirmative authorization.
5. Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our products and services to you and fulfill the transactions you have requested, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, maintaining business and financial records, resolving disputes, maintaining security, detecting, and preventing fraud and abuse, and enforcing our agreements. The criteria used to determine retention periods include the legal limitation of liability period, agreed contractual provisions, applicable regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

If you are a California, Colorado, Connecticut or Virginia resident:
Right to Know. You may request to know whether we process your personal information and to access such personal information.
In addition, if you are a California resident, you may request that we disclose to you the following information as required by law: (i) the categories of personal information we collected about you and the categories of sources from which we collected such information; (ii) the business or commercial purpose for collecting or sharing personal information about you; (iii) the categories of personal information about you that we shared and the categories of third parties to whom we shared such information; and (iv) the categories of personal information about you that we otherwise disclosed, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed such personal information.
You may request to receive a copy of your personal information, including specific pieces of personal information, including, where applicable, to obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format.
Right to Delete. You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions. If you are a California resident, this applies to the personal information we collected from you.
Right to Correct. You may request to correct inaccuracies in your personal information.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing. A Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information request sometimes referred to as an opt-out request, will restrict your personal information from being sold to a third party and from sharing such personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where applicable.
When you visit our websites, we sometimes use tracking technologies, which may be considered "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may request that we do not share your personal information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising or targeted advertising by utilizing the “Cookie Settings” link on our websites that use tracking technologies for such purposes or by sending an opt-out preference signal supported by your device or browser. Your use of an opt-out preference signal will apply only to your device or browser and not to other personal information that is not linked to your device or browser. In addition, if you are a Colorado, Connecticut or Virginia resident, you may request to opt out of the processing of your personal information for purposes of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

You may be required to submit proof of your identity for certain of these requests to be processed. Such information may include your name, address, date of birth, and government ID. This information will be used only for the purposes of verifying your identity and processing your request. We may not be able to comply with your request if we are unable to confirm your identity or to connect the information you submit in your request with personal information in our possession.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf subject to proof of identity and authorization as required under the applicable U.S. Consumer Privacy Laws. As part of our verification process, we may request that the agent provide, as applicable, proof concerning his or her status as an authorized agent. In addition, we may require that you verify your identity as described above or confirm that you provided the agent permission to submit the request.
We will respond to your request consistent with applicable law. If you are a Virginia resident and we refuse to take action on your request, you may appeal this refusal within a reasonable period after your receipt of the decision by submitting a request.
8. Notice of Financial Incentives
We offer the opportunity to participate in programs that provide certain perks, such as rewards and exclusive offers, and promotions, such as sweepstakes and contests, which might be interpreted as a “financial incentive” under the CPRA because participation involves the collection of personal information. To opt-in to a program, provide your name and contact information (such as email address and/or telephone number), complete any questions, and agree to the terms and conditions of the program. We have made a good faith estimate that the value of the personal information provided to us is equivalent to the value of the benefits we provide less their expense. Where we maintain or use de-identified data, we will continue to maintain and use the de-identified data only in a de-identified fashion and will not attempt to re-identify the data.
